In metro cities Gold prices up on Monday. Standard gold (99.5 purity) was up Rs 35 at Rs 28735 and pure gold (99.9 purity) was up Rs 15 at Rs 28985 in Mumbai Stock market. In Chennai makret standard gold (99.5 purity) was up 180 Rupees at 29160 Rupees and pure gold (99.9 purity) was up 180 Rupees at 29290 Rupees.
Silver prices were trading higher in Metro cites like Delhi,Mumbai, and Ahmedabad market, while trading down in Chennai market. According to Mumbai market, Pure silver (999 purity) was up by 715 Rupees at 56560 Rupees. According to Chennai market Pure silver (999 purity) was down by 500 Rupees at 55000 Rupees.
Cotton prices down further in the markets across south India on higher arrivals and slow demand at upper level.
